Above: IBEW Crews wearing shirts featuring my design for Nik Wallenda's Niagara Falls high-wire walk.
A month-and-a-half before the event I was tasked with developing graphics for the shirts IBEW crews would be wearing throughout the seven days in which they were installing and dismantling the cable for Nik's walk over The Falls.
Above: Approved artwork which I submitted to O'Connell management.
Above: The graphics were applied to short sleeve safety yellow shirts, long sleeve safety orange shirts, and black baseball caps. I used images from the shirt manufacturer's website to present graphic options and layouts to my customer
Above: Me sporting the short sleeve shirt and cap. The vendor used an older rendition of the graphics as well as a couple wrong colors, but the end result was 'acceptable'.
Above: Crews utilize a six-part-purchase to manually pull the Cable the last few feet before attaching it to the yoke plate on the Canadian side. Cable tension was more than 30,000 pounds.
