PHOTO SHOOT: Grand Island Bridge Upgrades

The South Grand Island Bridge is a pair of twin two-lane truss arch bridges that span the Niagara River between Tonawanda and Grand Island New York. It is the second busiest bridge operated by the New York State Thruway Authority. This post contains outtakes from a photo shoot where I was hired to capture crews performing bridge upgrades on a brisk January night.
